There does not seem to be another way to center the anchor point that I have found, no ALT/Command clicking it in Premiere to center it.Īccording to an Adobe person: “You can drag the anchor point to the center of the text box and it should snap into place. Either way it will likely NOT be centered precisely. The annoying step one must take is to relocate that poorly placed default anchor point either by adjusting it in the Effect Controls panel which moves the text’s position as well or by grabbing it with your mouse using the Selection Tool which leaves the position alone- thankfully.
